Wildcats suffer first season loss in hard-fought match against the Bears.

WACO (TX) – Arizona Volleyball experienced their first loss of the season on Wednesday night, falling to 19th ranked Baylor in four sets (18-25, 23-25, 25-16, 17-25).
Jaelyn Hodge had a standout performance, notching a season-high 21 kills while hitting .354, and recording 10 digs for her first double-double of the season. Carlie Cisneros added 11 kills, nine digs, and two blocks.
Defensively, Arizona out-blocked Baylor 11-7, with Journey Tucker matching her career-high of six blocks, and Avery Scoggins posting a career-best five blocks.
UA (11-1, 0-1 Big-12) will continue Big 12 play on Friday, September 27, as they travel to face No. 22 TCU. The match is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. MST and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
