Gilbert finished with a game-high 22 points to go along with 12 rebounds. Helena Pueyo followed right behind with 20 for UA who came away one point on top over the Utes after losing by one point to the No. 5 Colorado Buffaloes on Friday night.

The Wildcats trailed by as many as ten points in the second half. The Utes (11-4, 1-2) had taken a 70-69 lead with just over a minute to play in the extra period when Ines Vierra hit a three-point shot.

Gilbert was fouled after she rebounded her own missed layup and went to the free throw line to put Arizona on top. The Wildcats survived a last second attempt by the Utes for the win.

Utah star Alisa Pili led the visitors with 18 points.
