FINAL: Love and Cats shoot down road woes

EUGENE (OR) — Caleb Love scored 36 to lead 9th ranked Arizona to an 87-78 victory over Oregon in an NCAA men’s basketball game at Matthew Knight Arena.

The senior guard made 12-of-18 shots including 5-for-8 from three-point land. He knocked down 7-of-8 from the foul line to become the 23rd player in UA program history to score 35-or-more points in a game. The feat has been achieved 38 times.

The victory allowed Arizona to snap a three-game road losing streak in Pac-12 Conference play and it was UA’s first win at Oregon since 2015 ending a six-game skid.

Kylan Boswell scored 14 for UA and Oumar Ballo added 10.

Jermaine Couisnard paced the Ducks with 20. N’Faly Dante scored 19 points.
