Career day for Dallin as Arizona Soccer wins home opener

TUCSON – Arizona won their home opener, 5-0, over the Pacific Tigers behind four goals from Nicole Dallin on Sunday.

Dallin became the first Wildcats player to score a hat-trick since 2014 as she finished with four goals on the afternoon. She’s just the third player in program history to score four mor more goals in a single contest.

The senior has scored five of UA’s six goals this season and has vaulted into the Top 10 all-time in career goals. She now has 20, 8th most in program history.

Shanti Weddington scored the lone other goal for Arizona (2-0).

Oliva Ramey and Sofia Cortes-Browne split time in goal for the second straight game. Neither had a save as the Wildcats held Pacific to just three shots on the game.

Arizona will host Northern Arizona on Thursday, August 22 at 7 p.m. MST on Murphey Field at Mulcahy Stadium.
