Jaelyn Hodge’s 20 kills and Journey Tucker’s 11 blocks power UA past BYU
TUCSON – Arizona Volleyball beat No. 20 BYU in five sets (25-13, 23-25, 25-21,18-25, 15-13) on Wednesday night to mark their first Big 12 Conference win and secure their first ranked win since 2022.
Arizona’s pin players all recorded 13 or more kills led by Jaelyn Hodge with 20 kills and a .340 hitting percentage – her seventh career match with 20 or more kills. Jordan Wilson followed with 14 skills, and Carlie Cisneros tallied 14 kills.

The Wildcat’s defense tallied a season-high 14 blocks. Sophomore Journey Tucker had a break-out match with 11 blocks – the first time an Arizona player has had 10 or more blocks in a match since Zyonna Fellows in 2022.
UA (12-2, 1-2) will host old Pac-12 classmate Utah on Friday afternoon in a match that will start at Noon at McKale Center.
