Jets holdout Haason Reddick hires Drew Rosenhaus

Disgruntled edge rusher Haason Reddick hired Drew Rosenhaus to negotiate an end to his holdout with the New York Jets, the agent confirmed Monday.

CAA parted ways with Reddick as a client last week amid his ongoing contract dispute with the Jets.

“We look forward to working with the Jets to get this resolved as soon as possible,” Rosenhaus told ESPN. “Haason would like to be a New York Jet for years to come and our goal is to make that happen.”

In five games entering “Monday Night Football” against the Bills, the Jets had 18 sacks this season. Will McDonald has a team-high 6.0 sacks.

The Jets acquired Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles for a conditional 2026 draft pick on April 1, but the two-time Pro Bowl selection has been a no show while seeking a long-term deal.

Reddick was due to make $14.25 million in the final season of his three-year, $45 million contract.

Reddick, 30, has recorded 50.5 sacks over the past four seasons.

A first-round pick (13th overall) by Arizona in 2017, Reddick is a two-time Pro Bowl selection with 410 tackles, 99 quarterback hits, 58 sacks and 16 forced fumbles in 114 games (81 starts) with the Cardinals (2017-20), Carolina Panthers (2021) and Eagles.
