Freshman Lauryn Swann scores 18 in a 75-66 comeback win for UA
TUCSON — A star might have been born Tuesday night at McKale Center.
Freshman Lauryn Swann from Queens, New York could not miss in the second half of the Wildcats game against UNLV. She knocked down 8-of-9 field goals, scoring all 19 of her points after the intermission as the Arizona rallied to beat the visiting Lady Rebels 75-66.

Jada Williams found her shot in the Cats return home, knocking down three treys for 15 points to go along with 6 rebounds. Breya Cunningham finished with 12 points.
UNLV led by as many as 9 in the third quarter before Arizona turned the game around. The Lady Rebels (3-1) were led in scoring by Amarachi Kimpson’s 14 points.
Sahuaro grad Alyssa Brown (’21) made her return to Tucson and scored 6 points while grabbing 6 rebounds and pilfering 6 steals. The senior has played in 86 games for UNLV and been a part of three straight Mountain West Conference Championship teams.
UA (4-0) will head to the Windy City on Saturday to face Chicago State in a game that will tipoff at Noon Tucson time.
