Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves was ruled out of Friday’s game against the visiting Los Angeles Clippers with right calf soreness after playing nine minutes in the first quarter.
Per an ESPN report, Reaves will undergo an MRI on his calf on Saturday.
Reaves scored six points on a pair of 3-pointers before departing. The Lakers already were without forward Rui Hachimura because of a left knee strain.
Reaves, 26, entered Friday with career-best averages of 19.2 points, 6.1 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 51 games (all starts) this season.
Undrafted out of Oklahoma, Reaves entered Friday averaging 13.8 points with 4.2 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 258 career games (149 starts) in four seasons with Los Angeles.
